“Philip, I am going to ask you to close your eyes and count to 100. No peeking, okay?” The young boy nodded, closing his eyes as tightly as possible as he slowly began to count. Sūraja stood up with her back to the men and women behind her as they drew all sorts of weapons. The fayri stretched her hands behind her back, palms facing them as she murmured “Āhdna,”

A flash of dark orange light burst from her hands, blinding her enemies. Sūraja immediately sailed into a backflip, bringing down a powerful kick that connected with the back of the closest person’s head. As soon as their face hit the dust, she had already twisted her lithe body into a roundhouse kick that collided with the biggest guy’s jaw.
He stumbled to the side from the unexpected force and toppling over four guys beside him.

The fayri tucked into a mini somersault, landing on her feet. In one swift motion she thrust out her palm into the woman’s chest, pushing this person off her feet and into the wall, while slamming her elbow into the man’s nose directly behind her.

They crumbled to the ground at the same moment, the ones still standing halted by how quickly—the kid behind her had just reached the late 20s—she had taken their friends out.

Her brown orbs blazed something fierce as she stared them down, orange energy swirling in her palms. They unconsciously took a step back from her, the movement not going unnoticed by her eyes as her tail flicked back and forth dangerously. She then barred her fangs and whispered loud enough for them to hear: "Run".
